Every IT environment is different, so Jamf recommends you complete a detailed test or pilot phase to ensure that your migration workflow meets your requirements. Test within your team in addition to conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to gather feedback from users about their experience.
If you have a limited number of test devices, you can re-enroll computers into your old MDM for repeated testing.
Note:
If an updated Jamf Migrate configuration profile is deployed to a computer after Jamf Migrate already ran on it, Jamf Migrate must be uninstalled and re-installed to update the profile settings. For more information, see the removal script in Troubleshooting Jamf Migrate.
