Compatibility with macOS Sequoia 15
Jamf Connect 2.39.0 provides compatibility with macOS Sequoia 15. This includes compatibility for the following features and workflows:
Network and local authentication
Local account creation
Password syncing
Login window and menu bar app custom branding
Creating configuration profiles with the Jamf Connect Configuration app
Privilege elevation
Changes and Improvements
The Jamf Connect menu bar app now displays the temporary privilege elevation duration in the format "HH:MM:SS" to improve usability during privilege elevation sessions lasting more than 60 minutes.
Resolved Issues
[PI118336] The Jamf Connect menu bar app now correctly adjusts the value for the
FirstRunDonestate setting in the com.jamf.connect.state PLIST file.[PI118717] The Jamf Connect login window no longer presents the following error message after users reset their password via the Jamf Connect menu bar app or a web browser: "Password verification unsuccessful: invalid password. Contact your IT administrator."
[PI118886] Users can now enter their full name during local login via the Jamf Connect login window.
[PI119244] Users with Okta Identity Engine as their identity provider no longer experience an unexpected authentication error when attempting to change their Okta password via the Jamf Connect login window.
[PI119357] The value in the Short Name (
OIDCShortName) setting is now correctly shared after migrating an existing user's local account to a cloud identity provider account.[PI119750] The sign-in window that appears when the Verify User Promotion (
VerifyUserPromotion) workflow is in progress no longer appears hidden behind macOS administrator prompts.[PI119920] When adding the Formatted ID Token Path (
OIDCIDTokenPath) setting to your Jamf Connect configuration profile via the Jamf Connect Configuration app's source mode, the following error no longer appears: "Some keys in your configuration profile cannot be displayed in the Jamf Connect Configuration interface." Additionally, the field to configure this setting now appears as intended in the Jamf Connect Configuration app.[PI119984] Adding quitjamfconnect to the
HiddenMenuItemskey now correctly hides the option to quit Jamf Connect in the Jamf Connect menu bar app from users.[PI119986] Apple Migration Assistant no longer crashes while a user is logged in to Jamf Connect with their cloud identity provider (IdP) credentials.
[CON-5356] The Login tab in the Jamf Connect Configuration app no longer displays English language while a computer is set to a non-English supported language.
