Device management is not required but recommended. If devices are managed, you can use your UEM or MDM solution to deploy Jamf Security Cloud capabilities more efficiently throughout your organization by leveraging UEM Connect in the Jamf Security Cloud.

Users must be able to authenticate via an identity provider (IdP). These IdPs are supported:

Microsoft Entra ID
Google Workspace
To use other IdPs, you can configure a federated integration via Entra ID.
