Jamf Account will generate a new license file automatically each year on the subscription start date. Users must manually download the new license file from Jamf Account to prevent any loss of functionality.
Note:

Users with Jamf Connect 2.43 or later will receive a grace period when the license is nearing its annual expiration date. When the grace period has concluded, the About window in Jamf Connect and Self Service+ will display "UNLICENSED".

Requirements

  • Access to your Jamf Account portal

  • Access to Jamf Pro

  1. In the Jamf Account portal, navigate to the Jamf Connect page.
  2. Click Copy license content to Clipboard.
  3. In Jamf Pro, create a new configuration profile or clone your previous Jamf Connect license configuration profile.
  4. Paste the license content into the License File (LicenseFile) setting in the Application & Custom Settings payload. For more information, see Creating Jamf Connect Configuration Profiles Using Jamf Pro.
  5. Assign the Scope, then click Save.
  6. Remove the Scope or delete your previous license configuration profile.

Jamf Connect will now have a renewed license for one year of operation.
