After configuring your Jamf Connect application with Okta, minor changes will need to be applied for multifactor authentication to appear at the Jamf Connect login window.

Requirements
  • Access to your organization's Okta Identity Engine or Okta Classic Engine admin console.

  • An existing Okta app integration with OpenID Connect 2.0.

  1. Log in to the Okta admin console.
  2. Click Applications.
  3. Navigate to your Jamf Connect application.
  4. Navigate to the General tab.
    1. Click Edit in the General Settings section.
    2. Change the value of the App integration name to include the words Password Check. For example, Jamf Connect - Password Check.
    3. Click Save.

Your Jamf Connect application is now ready to be paired with an additional Jamf Connect application to enable multifactor authentication during login.
