If your organization uses an 802.1x controlled-access network, the authentication type must be supported at the macOS login window to work with Jamf Connect. For example, a network profile with EAP-TLS certificate-based authentication at the computer level.
802.1x authentication types requiring a username and password are not supported at the macOS login window with Jamf Connect as the credentials needed are not available until a user has logged into their device. These include authentication types such as EAP-PEAP and EAP-TTLS.
