If FileVault is enabled, the user must complete an additional authentication step to unlock the computer disk before the Jamf Connect login window can display.
After the computer starts up, and the user is presented with a FileVault login window.
- The user enters their local password to unlock the disk.Note:
Only FileVault-enabled users can unlock a FileVault encrypted disk. For more information about FileVault, see Protect data on your Mac with FileVault from Apple's support website
If a user forgets their password, the disk can be unlocked with their FileVault recovery key. For more information, see If you forgot your Mac login password from Apple's support website.
The disk is unlocked and the Jamf Connect login window displays.
