If a license expires or if Jamf Connect detects that an invalid license key has been applied to the configuration, the following functionality will cease:
- Account management capabilities in Self Service+ (formerly the Jamf Connect menu bar app)
The Sign In window, accessed from the menu bar under Connect..., will no longer function. Username and Password fields will be grayed out and users will not be able to click the Sign In button.
Continuous password checks (password syncing) will no longer function.
Obtaining Kerberos certificates and related functionality (automatic File Share mounting) will no longer function.
- Login window
Users will not be able to change their passwords through Jamf Connect.
Local login will continue to function unless it has been disabled with the Require Network Authentication (
DenyLocal) setting enabled (set to true).
