Distributing the Jamf Trust App Using a Shareable Link

When accessed by users on their device, users are prompted to install the Jamf Trust app and enable the security capabilities associated with the link's activation profile in the Jamf Security Cloud.

Requirements

An activation profile that is compatible with devices that target users will use to access the link

  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to Devices > Activation Profiles.
  2. Click the relevant activation profile.
  3. In the Deployment tab, copy the shareable link.

    Alternatively, you can also download a QR code.

  4. Share the link or QR code with users via a preferred distribution method, such as email.
Users can click the received link to install the Jamf Trust app. Once installed, they can click the link again to enable the security capabilities associated with the link's activation profile.
