Configuring a Sign On Policy with Okta Classic Engine to Limit Access

In order to limit access with Okta Classic Engine, an Sign On policy must be configured and added to your Jamf Connect application.

Requirements
  • Access to your organization's Okta Classic Engine admin console.

  • A configured Jamf Connect application in Okta Classic Engine

  1. Log in to your Okta Classic Engine admin console.
  2. Navigate to the Sign on tab.
  3. In the Sign On Policy section, click Add Rule.
  4. Create a name for the rule in the Rule Name field.
  5. Select Users assigned this app in the People section.
  6. Select Anywhere in the Location section.
  7. (Optional) (Optional) Select macOS in the Client section and deselect other values.
  8. Select Allowed for the When all the conditions above are met, sign on to this application is: setting in the Access section.

    The Prompt for re-authentication and Prompt for factor checkboxes should remain deselected.
