You can push a configuration from a device management platform to mobile device endpoints in a format that is readable by the Jamf Trust app. With this, the Jamf Trust app bypasses the first welcome screen and is launched into the activation process. The device is activated with the Activation Profile specified by the administrator in the app config payload, overriding any Azure Auto Provisioning configuration.
Note:
To limit device activations to only devices that are managed by a UEM, MDM, or SCM solution, configure the solution as follows but disable identity-based provisioning. This will prevent a device user from being able to activate their device until a configuration is pushed to the device.
