A platform environment is a group of related tenants on the Jamf platform, such as your Jamf Pro tenant, your Jamf Protect tenant, and Elevate, that work together as a single deployment. Environments are not new products. They connect tenants that would otherwise remain isolated from each other, giving you access to platform capabilities across the services you own.

Jamf Account displays this relationship. Your environment name also displays in app switcher, and environments will continue to appear in additional Jamf services as tenant groupings are used in more of the product experience.

Platform environments group related tenants together, giving you a clearer view of your deployment and tenant details, such as tenant types and regions. This grouping also supports future features, such as managing settings at the environment level instead of tenant by tenant.

For most accounts, Jamf groups tenants into environments automatically, based on account setup. No action is required. Sign in to Jamf Account to view your existing environments.

Some accounts include tenants set up or purchased in a way that does not map clearly to a single environment. These accounts include tools to manually group tenants into custom platform environments.

If a tenant does not appear in your environments, contact Jamf Support for assistance.
