Requirements
  • You must have access to Jamf Account and Jamf Pro, Jamf School, or Elevate, with Feedback Program privileges and Integrations privileges in Jamf Account.

Note:Keep the following in mind about Integrations privileges:
    • Integrations privileges only display after you enroll in the Platform API Gateway beta.

    • The Administrator role in Jamf Account includes these privileges by default.

    • If you do not have the Administrator role, you can create a custom role to assign yourself the Integrations privileges. After assigning the role, you will need to log out of Jamf Account and log back in. For more information on custom roles, see Users in Jamf Account.

    • If you do not have and cannot assign the required privileges, contact your account representative by logging in to Jamf Account and clicking Resource Center in the lower-left corner of the page, and then clicking Contact Account Team.

  • You must enroll in the Platform API Gateway beta. To enroll, log in to Jamf Account and click Feedback Program, and then click Enroll next to the Platform API Gateway beta.

  1. Log in to the Jamf Account portal.
  2. Click Integrations.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To create a new integration, click Create integration.

    • To edit an existing integration, next to the integration you want to edit, click View > Edit.

  4. Add or edit the name and description.
  5. Choose regions. This filters tenants based on their hosted location.
  6. In the Tenants pop-up menu, choose the tenants you want to grant access.
  7. In the Permissions pop-up menu, choose the permissions you want to grant.
  8. Click Save integration.

After the integration is created, a summary displays with details you can use to authenticate with Jamf's Platform API Gateway. In the list of selected tenants, you can hover over or click a tenant name to view or copy its tenant ID.

Important:

The client secret only displays once after you create an integration. Jamf recommends you copy and save it in a secure location. It does not display after editing an integration.
