Creating a Trial Tenant

You can create trial tenants of Jamf solutions for prospective customers.

Requirements

You must have partner privileges in Jamf Account. If you do not have those privileges, contact your account representative to enable this feature. Click Resource Center in the lower-left corner of the page, and then click Contact Account Team.

  1. Log in to the Jamf Account portal. If you do not have an account, you can create one by clicking Create one now.
  2. Click Partners.
  3. Create a tenant from your tasks or customers list.

    • To use the tasks list, navigate to Tasks > Set up now.

    • To use the customers list, navigate to Customers > Details.

  4. Click Create trial.
  5. Choose the type from the Trial type pop-up menu.
  6. Enter a tenant name.

    Jamf recommends entering a name the customer prefers because some customers choose to convert trial tenants to standard tenants instead of creating a new tenant.

  7. Click Create tenant.

The tenant and its trial expiration display under Overview & instances.
