You can create custom roles to have greater control over which privileges are offered to your users.

Requirements

You need "edit users" and "edit contacts" privileges in Jamf Account. If you do not have those privileges, contact your account representative to enable this feature. Click Resource Center in the lower-left corner of the page, and then click Contact Account Team.

  1. Log in to the Jamf Account portal.
  2. Click Organization.
  3. Click Roles & privileges.
  4. Click Create a custom role.
  5. Enter a role name and description.
  6. (Optional) Assign to IdP groups.
    Note:

    You can assign roles to specific users and IdP groups later by editing this role, or by assigning the role in Users & contacts.

  7. Select the role scope, and then select privileges.
  8. Click Create role.
