You can assign default roles to apply to new Jamf IDs and new identity provider (IdP) users logging in to your organization.

Requirements

You need "edit users" and "edit contacts" privileges in Jamf Account. If you do not have those privileges, contact your account representative to enable this feature. Click Resource Center in the lower-left corner of the page, and then click Contact Account Team.

  1. Log in to the Jamf Account portal.
  2. Click Organization.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Choose a role from the Default Jamf ID role and Default IdP role pop-up menus.
  5. Click Save.
