Requirements

  • A device and browser that supports passkeys, such as Safari, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox on Mac, iOS, iPadOS, Windows, or Android

  • A Jamf ID

Note:If you do not have a Jamf ID, you can create one at account.jamf.com. You will automatically be prompted to create a passkey.
  1. Log in to the Jamf Account portal.
  2. Click Profile.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Under the Sign-in Methods heading, navigate to the Passkeys list and click + Add a passkey.
  5. Follow the prompts on your device to add the passkey.

The passkey appears in the Passkeys list in Jamf Account, along with details including: the operating system and browser it was created on, the passkey's sync status, the date it was created, and the date it was last used.

If you create more than one passkey for your Jamf ID, you can manage and remove each passkey independently.

To remove a passkey, navigate to the Passkeys list, and then click Remove on the passkey you want to remove.

Note:Removing a passkey does not affect your password.
