AI Assistant is Jamf's AI-powered conversational assistant that supports administrators with their device management and security. AI Assistant can be enabled for use in Jamf Account, Jamf Pro, and Jamf Protect (beta). It is powered by Claude Sonnet 4.6 (Anthropic) via Amazon Bedrock and is available in all Jamf Cloud regions.
AI Assistant consists of individual functionalities called "tools" that are organized in tool groups by product. AI Assistant is disabled by default. When you enable AI Assistant, you enable AI Assistant Core, a foundational knowledge tool that can assist you with technical questions about Jamf's software and services. In addition, you can enable read-only tool groups for individual products. An organization administrator can enable or disable tool groups at any time in Jamf Account, which enables or disables the tool group for all users linked to that account.
Keep the following in mind when using AI Assistant:
Chats are monitored and recorded in accordance with Jamf's Privacy Policy. Chat records are retained for 30 days. For additional security details, see AI Assistant Security Technical Paper.
Managed service providers (MSPs) can enable AI Assistant and tool groups on their parent account, as well as on end user accounts. End users can also enable AI Assistant and tool groups. This functionality does not apply to tenants managed by resellers.
