You must upload the Zscaler Client Connector PKG file that you downloaded to Jamf Pro, and then use a policy to install it to target computers.

Requirements

  • Downloaded Client Connector PKG file

  • Downloaded configuration profile (activation profile) with device identity and network security capability from Jamf Security Cloud

  1. In Jamf Pro, click Settings in the sidebar.
  2. In the Computer management section, click Packages .
  3. Click New.
  4. Use the General pane to configure basic settings for the package, including the display name and category.
  5. Click Choose File and select the Client Connector PKG to upload.
  6. Click Upload.
  7. Click Save .
  8. Navigate back to Computers and click Policies.
  9. Click New.
  10. Use the General payload to configure basic settings for the policy.
    1. Set the trigger for Recurring Check-in.
    2. Set the execution frequency to once per computer.
  11. Select the Packages payload and click Configure.
  12. Click Add for the package you want to install.
  13. Choose "Install" from the Action drop-down menu.
  14. Click the Scope tab and configure the scope of the policy.
  15. Click Save .
