FusionID automatically processes every source record to find and link it to an identity record. This happens in the background every time a source object is saved following this sequence:
- When a source object is saved, FusionID queues it for asynchronous matching.
- FusionID looks up the Source Management policy for the source type.
- The system evaluates the configured matching criteria.
- Based on the result, FusionID links the source to a matched identity, flags it for review, or creates a new identity, according to the policy actions you configured.
