If you need notifications for an event not in the default list, add a custom event type.

  1. In the admin interface, navigate to Settings > Object > Select Options.
  2. Find and open the NotificationEventType select option.
  3. Add a new entry with a Value for the internal identifier, a Label for the display name, and a unique Name.
  4. Click Save.

The new event type is immediately available in all notification rules.
