FusionID runs a background maintenance task that
automatically identifies and corrects source records whose isActive status is out of sync with the current validation rules. This
task runs on a standard maintenance schedule and keeps data consistent
whenever policy configurations change.
Note:The maintenance task handles cases where policy rules change after sources have
already been saved. Sources that should now be active or inactive based on updated rules
are reprocessed automatically, with no manual intervention needed.
When no validation policies are configured for a source type, or when policies exist but
have no validation rules defined, the isActive field can be set
directly through a DataHub import. This allows bulk management of source active status
through your regular data import process.
