The FusionIDAPI object provides fine-grained control over what each
client can access. Configure these fields when creating or editing a credential
object.
Identifier Permissions
| Permission Field | Grants the Client Access To |

| Can Create Identifier | Create new identifiers in FusionID. |
| Can Read Identifier | Read identifier data. |
Identity Permissions
| Permission Field | Grants the Client Access To |
|---|---|
| Can Read Identity | Read identity records. |
| Can Search Identity | Search identities. This field also requires Can Read Identity. |
| Can Create Identity | Create identity records. This field also requires Can Read Identity and Can Create Source. |
| Can Merge Identity | Merge identity records. This field also requires Can Create Identity, Can Read Identity, and Can Create Source. |
| Allowed Identity Fields | Restrict which identity fields this client can read. Leave this field blank to allow all identity fields. |
Source Permissions
| Permission Field | Grants the Client Access To |

| Can Create Source | Create source records. |
| Can Unmerge Source | Unmerge sources. This field also requires Can Create Source, Can Create Identity, and Can Read Identity. |
| Allowed Source Types | Restrict which source types this client can create. Leave this field blank to allow all source types. |
