With Elevate, you can remotely send management commands to individual devices or groups of devices to execute simple device commands such as restarting or shutting off the device.
- In Elevate, click Devices.
- Select an individual device or a device group that you would like to send a management command to.
- To send a command to an individual device, click MDM Commands in the device record.
- Select a management command:
- Restart Device —Force restarts the device
- Shut Down Device —Turns the device off
- Erase Device —Permanently erases the device
- Unmanage Device —Removes the device from management
While the command is being sent to the device, the command appears in the Pending Commands section. Completed or failed commands appear in the corresponding section.
